WCWB Newsletter – january

As many of us begin to decorate for the Holiday season, please keep in mind that due to potential fire hazards, only artificial Christmas trees are permitted at Cambridge properties.

Also, as we do every year, the Woodland Creek/Woodbridge communities will be holding a “best balcony” contest. Management will handle the judging, and winners will be announced at the annual Toy’s for Tots party on December 16th. Prizes are in the form of free rent with $200.00 for first place, $100.00 for second, and $50.00 for third.

As some of you may have noticed, DISH Network has stopped the broadcast of Fox Sports Detroit. This is not the fault of our carrier, Suite Solutions. Instead, it is a result of contract negotiations between DISH Network, and Fox broadcasting over fees. This could possibly affect your ability to view Pistons basketball games (preseason begins Monday), or Red Wings regular season games which begin this Friday.

Construction Progress:

* Installation of the 54″ sanitary sewer in the eastern half of the project between East Paris and Patterson is completed.
* The contractor has completed work at some of the bore pit locations that are near the offices of Woodland Creek Apartments and are in the process of installing additional earth retention systems at other bore pit locations so that pipe jacking operations can continue. Work in the vicinity of Woodland Creek Drive, areas north of the main office, and by the Christian School building at 3350 East Paris is on-going.
* Installation of the 72″ sanitary sewer in the western part of the project between East Paris and Poplar Creek Dr is over one-third completed.
* Installation of the 54″ sanitary sewer that crosses the Home Depot driveway to Patterson is tentatively planned for late October.
* With multiple crews working along the project route, the project remains on schedule for completion in December.
