Below is an email received by Cambridge Partners because many residents were extras in this movie. Please do not reply to this post, but contact the office for details on setting up a group.ell, the big day is finally arriving.
“We are opening “The Genesis Code” on Friday, August 27 in the Loeks and Goodrich theaters in West Michigan. Since your company was a big part of making this happen, I thought you might be interested in discounted group tickets that Celebration Cinema is offering.
The film will run a minimum of 2 weeks, beginning Aug 27. If you want to put together a group of 15 or more, Celebration Cinema will provide tickets at $7 instead of the normal $9.50. I think they also provide some deal on popcorn/soda too.”
Overnight Thu/Fri, August 19/20, there was an attempted break in on Pine Meadow Dr. Fortunately, the person attempting the break in was scared off by an alert resident. Please keep your eyes open for suspicious activity and call the Kentwood Police if ANYTHING looks out of place.
It would help if people left their porch lights on over night to aid neighborhood lighting (and using CFL bulbs, it’s very inexpensive). Remember to always lock windows and doors. If you keep a window cracked open for fresh air, remember to use a dowel to keep someone from opening it the rest of the way and climbing in.
The office received a call this morning regarding suspicious activity within the community. A man with a dark complexion, possibly African American, was seen “lurking” near the corner of a building on Pine Meadow Dr. The individual was dressed in black clothing and wore a black hat. When the person suspected he was spotted, he got into a tan late model pick-up truck with a cap on the bed.
If you see anyone one resembling this description, or if you EVER see anything suspicious, please immediately contact the Kentwood Police department at 698-6580 and report it.
Although it is a good idea to inform the office what has occurred, ALWAYS call the police first.
If you live at a Cambridge property and want to acknowledge the service provided by an employee, stop by the office for a form to “Give ‘em a Pickle”. Pickle bucks are rewards employees can use towards time off and other benefits.
